Most of us enter recovery with a conflicted sense of self, or a carefully constructed false self, or no sense of self at all. However, many SLAA members have found a whole new relationship with themselves by working the Steps and participating in the Fellowship. This workshop will focus on the relationship we have with ourselves and how to surrender the inner obstacles, or character defects, that can undermine us or keep us addicted.

For more information, see this flyer.

Directions to McIntyre Hall

McIntyre Hall is located in the basement of St. Basils Catholic Church. Unfortunately, the stairs to McIntyre Hall are like most stairways – not handicap friendly. St. Basil’s is located in the Mid-Wilshire, Koreatown section of Los Angeles. St. Basils is three blocks east of Western Avenue, on the north side of Wilshire Boulevard between Harvard Boulevard and Kingsley Avenue. Parking lot entrance is on Harvard Boulevard and parking is free. The entrance to the hall is outside, at the north end of the building. And be sure to bring your own water.
